The wooden molded industrial pallet uses sawdust, plant straw, etc. as raw materials. It is an integral structure, and the panel and 9 supporting feet are molded at one time. The upper surface of the pallet board is flat and smooth, which can meet the transportation of various goods, and the lower surface is equipped with reinforcing ribs. The board surface is balanced in vertical and horizontal forces, and the nine feet are distributed to meet the four-way insertion of the forklift. It is a flat four-way fork single-sided pallet.
Application scope of molded pallet hot press
Recycled raw materials: waste wood, waste wood chips, sawdust wood chips, shavings, sawdust, large sawdust, logs, burnt forests, logs, boards, branches, wood, wood chips and waste pallets, etc. Fibers rich in fiber can also be used to produce pallets, such as straw, waste kraft paper, bamboo, palm trees, coconuts, cork, wheat straw, bagasse and platycodon, etc.
The crushed wood chips or straw are first dried at 300-450ºC for 30 minutes to remove moisture from the material, then mixed with thermosetting resin and molded at 220ºC with a pressure of 1400psi or 98kg/cm3. During this process, the internal temperature of the pallet reaches 105ºC, and the internal temperature of the pallet is kept above 56ºC for more than 30 minutes, and the final moisture content of the product does not exceed 5%.
The entire production process is carried out under high temperature and high pressure, killing any insects and microorganisms remaining in the material. At the same time, due to the high density of the produced wooden pallet products, it can prevent any other insects from re-invading and reproducing. This molded product is the latest "artificial wooden packaging material" rather than the traditional "solid wood packaging material". Its products no longer need to be treated with insecticides, and there are no living insects and microorganisms in the products, which meets the requirements of ISPM15 (Insternational Standard for Phytosanitary Measures 15) for wood packaging products.
1. Raw material preparation: select wood or straw varieties according to the load-bearing requirements of the pallet, chip and crush into 1-2mm toothpick-shaped sawdust, strictly control the impurity content of the bark to not exceed 5%, and send it to the dryer after magnetic separation and iron removal. The moisture content of the raw material after drying is ≤5%.
2. Glue mixing: In order to prevent the sawdust from breaking, it is not suitable to use a high-speed glue mixer. Generally, a drum glue mixer is used, and two spray systems are set up to add two types of glue that should not be mixed together. Generally, isocyanate and urea-formaldehyde resin are mixed, or phenolic resin and melamine resin are used, and the glue application amount is 5%-15%. The measured sawdust and a certain amount of adhesive are sent to the glue mixer at the same time. The moisture content of the sawdust after uniform mixing should be controlled within the range of 6-8%.
3. Paving and hot pressing: Special equipment is used, and the paving is carried out in two times. First, the pallet feet are laid and pre-pressed, and then the flat part of the pallet is laid. The male mold is fixed on the upper movable crossbeam of the hot press, while the female mold moves back and forth between the hot press and the laying machine. It is placed on the lower workbench of the hot press and has a special demoulding device. The glue-mixed wood chips are laid in the mold, pre-pressed and hot-pressed. After the resin is completely cured, the mold can be removed. First, the wood chips after glue application are quantitatively laid into the metal mold for cold pressing pre-forming. Then they are placed in the hot press for pressure molding.
4. Edge trimming: mainly trimming, that is, removing the excess flash on the edge of the product.
(1) The moisture content of the pallet is low, generally controlled between 6% and 8%. The pallet does not absorb moisture or deform during use.
(2) Stable size, light weight, no twisting and warping.
(3) The molded product has high dimensional accuracy, and the specially designed reinforcement ribs ensure the strength and production accuracy of the product.
(4) It can maintain constant strength and rigidity. The natural defects of the wood itself are eliminated during the molding process, and the strength is higher than that of products assembled from traditional wooden boards.
(5) The weight is 50% lighter than the pallet products made of solid hardwood.
(6) The rounded corners prevent the product from being damaged during packaging and transportation. It can realize automatic bundling operation, saving operation time.
(7) Multiple pallets can be stacked together, and the height of 50 pallets is about 7 feet. The pallet can be shoveled from all four sides by a forklift.
(8) It can meet the transportation needs of import and export business without fumigation.
(9) It can be manufactured using wood processing residues, waste materials and low-grade wood.
(10) The product is environmentally friendly and can be recycled, recovered and reused. It has low pollution and the recovery rate can reach 100%.
(11) The price is cheaper than traditional coniferous or hardwood.
(12) Environmentally friendly urea-formaldehyde resin glue is used as an adhesive to directly mold wood chips or wood fibers.
(13) Each standard container can hold about 1,000 pallets, minimizing the user's transportation costs.
(14) Dynamic load reaches 1,500 kg and static load reaches 5,000 kg.
(15) The same number of pallets saves 3/4 of the space compared to ordinary wooden pallets. A forklift can carry 60 pallets at a time, while ordinary wooden pallets can only carry 18-20 at a time.
